Hi! I'm Shannon,

I’m drawn to people, their lives, and lovely things. I am passionate about lots of things, all at once, and fortunately my art is greatly aided by that. I’ve had the privilege of experimenting with several mediums and am always excited to learn something new. I’ve learned from teachers, darkrooms, friends, mentors, experience, community, and now I’m making things happen.

I’m a country girl at heart, most especially in the -own a few cows - grow a few stalks of corn- ideal world where we could all wear cowboy boots, fancy dresses and sing... in the Oklahoma musical kind of way. Whenever I have had the opportunity to spend time in my hometown, it has made me fall even more in love with country-style and the simplicity that it requires. Despite my love for the country, I do secretly love being in the big city with the hussel and bussel too.
